DIY ads


Okay, so there's no big strategic thinking (they haven't invented a programme that can interrogate a client's business/product yet) but it can't be long before some clients are taking this up. They can create their own artwork, book the publication and despatch the ad for less than a fiver (+ media costs). We may all laugh at it and say the results will be rubbish and any client that wants to go down this road deserves everything they get (a diminished brand and no response). But this is the first step down the road to some clients (and we've all got at least one that must spring to mind) doing it for themselves.
